The construction method comprises the following steps: preparing for construction; widening the embankment and slotting; piling construction of the tubular pile; constructing an L-shaped cast-in-place concrete panel; and backfilling slag and constructing a broken stone hardcore. The construction method has the beneficial effects that the engineering cost can be effectively reduced, the construction speed of the widened embankment of the expressway is high, the drainage effect is good, the reinforcing steel bars are laid and connected with the anchor rods, reliable connection between the widened embankment and an original embankment is guaranteed, sedimentation of the widened embankment is reduced, the construction quality of the widened embankment of the expressway is improved, and the construction period is shortened. Good technical and economic benefits can be obtained when the method is applied to practical engineering; the drainage ditch is semi-prefabricated, one half of the drainage ditch is prefabricated in a factory, the other half of the drainage ditch is made of the reinforced concrete cast-in-place panel, the prefabricated drainage ditch and the lower portion of the reinforced concrete cast-in-place panel are connected in a stepped mode, threaded rods and bolts are pre-embedded through a reinforced concrete cast-in-place panel foundation to be fixed, the upper portion is leveled through concrete, and the construction speed is high.
