The mining excavator comprises a chassis, a roller disc, a rotating platform, a lifting mechanism, a rotating mechanism, an excavating mechanism, a pushing and pressing mechanism, a walking mechanism, an A-shaped frame, a cargo boom, a lifting steel wire rope, a guy rope, a control system and a lubricating system, wherein the control system is used for connecting all the mechanisms; the lifting mechanism comprises two lifting permanent-magnet direct-drive motors, a lifting winding drum, a lifting brake and a lifting brake hydraulic control system, the two lifting permanent-magnet direct-drive motors are oppositely arranged on the rotary platform, output shafts of the two lifting permanent-magnet direct-drive motors are located on the same axis, the lifting winding drum is connected to the output shafts of the two lifting permanent-magnet direct-drive motors, and the lifting brake hydraulic control system is connected to the lifting winding drum. The lifting brake comprises a support, a brake disc and a hydraulic brake, the support is arranged on the rotary platform below the lifting winding drum, the hydraulic brake is arranged on the support, the brake disc is installed on the lifting winding drum and matched with the hydraulic brake, and the lifting brake hydraulic control system is connected to the hydraulic brake. The transmission efficiency and reliability of the mining excavator are improved.
