The invention relates to a grouting material composition particularly suitable for joining precast concrete members at low temperatures, comprising, based on the total weight of the dry composition: A) 12-50 wt% of a calcium sulphoaluminate binder; b) 3.5 to 35 wt% of high belite calcium sulphoaluminate cement; c) 1.3 to 10 wt% of calcium sulfate; and D) 0-2% by weight of an alkaline earth metal oxide or hydroxide; wherein the total amount of the three components A) to C) is from 42% to 54.5% by weight, based on the total weight of the dry composition. In addition, the invention also relates to a method for applying the grouting material composition and a connector obtained by the method.
