The mining sealing material provided by the invention is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 25 to 45 parts of slag, 5 to 15 parts of Portland cement clinker, 15 to 40 parts of auxiliary materials, 5 to 20 parts of gypsum, 3 to 15 parts of lime, 0.1 to 2 parts of grinding aid, 1 to 5 parts of activating agent, 0.1 to 5 parts of adhesion promoter, 0.3 to 3 parts of anti-cracking agent and 0.5 to 5 parts of reinforcing agent. The sealing material is high in setting speed, good in fluidity and good in water retention, construction difficulty is reduced, gas leakage is not prone to occurring, hole sealing quality is good, safety meets the requirements of mining hole sealing materials, and therefore the sealing effect and gas drainage efficiency of coal seam gas extraction drill holes are improved, and raw material sources are wide. The preparation method is simple, and the production cost is reduced; meanwhile, the application is simple, the construction difficulty is reduced, and the hole sealing period is short.
