The invention provides a grinding structure of an abrasive belt type steel rail grinding wagon. Comprising an open type abrasive belt transmission mechanism, a pressurization movement mechanism, a belt winding and unwinding movement mechanism, a pressure loading mechanism for achieving pressurization movement, an abrasive belt guide mechanism in the abrasive belt transmission process and a chip brushing mechanism. The open type abrasive belt transmission mechanism comprises abrasive belt disc structures and abrasive belt joint modules, and the abrasive belt disc structures are arranged at the belt winding position and the belt unwinding position. The abrasive belt disc structure comprises a connecting shaft, a reel shaft center, a baffle and a reel end cover. The pressurization movement mechanism comprises an electric cylinder connecting piece, a guide rail, a sliding block, a pressure sensor, a pressure sensor connecting plate and a pressing and grinding plate structure. The abrasive belt guide mechanism comprises a first end cover, a guide wheel, a shaft sleeve and a guide wheel shaft. According to the abrasive belt type steel rail rapid polishing structure, an open type abrasive belt rapid polishing operation mode is adopted, abrasive belt winding is controlled through force-speed matching, and a new method is provided for improving the polishing operation efficiency and achieving active control over the polishing amount.
