The invention relates to a prefabricated concrete hollow column and a manufacturing method thereof. The prefabricated concrete hollow column comprises a reinforcement cage and a concrete prefabricating area formed on the peripheral side of the reinforcement cage through a centrifugal method. The reinforcement cage comprises a plurality of main reinforcements which are located in the concrete precast area and extend in the axial direction of the hollow column, and stirrups connected between the main reinforcements; a hollow cast-in-place area is formed in the concrete prefabricated area, and the stirrups extend into the hollow cast-in-place area. The invention aims to provide the prefabricated concrete hollow column which is light in weight and excellent in integrity and anti-seismic property. The prefabricated concrete hollow column has the advantages that the cast-in-place area is hollow, the volume of prefabricated concrete can be reduced, the weight of prefabricated parts can be reduced, the construction period can be shortened, the manufacturing cost can be reduced, the prefabricated concrete hollow column is light in weight and convenient to transport and hoist, and the hoisting cost and the equipment leasing cost can be saved.
