The invention relates to the technical field of concrete preparation, in particular to fiber reinforced concrete and a preparation method thereof. The fiber reinforced concrete is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of cement, 30 to 50 parts of fly ash, 100 to 150 parts of fine aggregate, 5 to 20 parts of hollow fiber internally provided with concrete powder, 2 to 5 parts of water reducing agent and 30 to 60 parts of water, the concrete powder comprises cement. Part of concrete powder is arranged in the hollow fiber, so that the concrete powder in the hollow fiber is solidified after curing and curing, and the fiber strength is improved; meanwhile, the fibers are tightly wrapped by concrete inside and outside the hollow fibers through a hydration reaction, so that the fiber reinforcing and toughening effects are improved, and the compressive strength and the bending strength of the obtained concrete are remarkably improved.
