The invention discloses a water permeable brick which comprises a decorative layer from top to bottom, and the decorative layer is prepared from the following raw materials: 1-78 parts of river sand, 1-78 parts of quartz sand, 20-24 parts of cement, 1.8-2.5 parts of pigment, 0.01-0.03 part of a water reducing agent and 3.8-6 parts of water; the hydrophobic layer is prepared from the following raw materials: 58 to 70 parts of decoration waste recycled aggregate, 8 to 12 parts of river sand, 18 to 24 parts of cement, 1 to 3 parts of fly ash, 1 to 3 parts of silica fume, 0.01 to 0.03 part of a water reducing agent and 7 to 10.8 parts of water; the water storage layer is prepared from the following raw materials: 56 to 68 parts of construction waste light recycled aggregate, 8 to 12 parts of river sand, 20 to 26 parts of cement, 1 to 3 parts of fly ash, 1 to 3 parts of silica fume, 0.01 to 0.03 part of a water reducing agent and 10 to 16.1 parts of water; the water guide layer is prepared from the following raw materials: 56 to 68 parts of waste concrete recycled aggregate, 8 to 12 parts of river sand, 20 to 26 parts of cement, 1 to 3 parts of fly ash, 1 to 3 parts of silica fume, 0.01 to 0.03 part of a water reducing agent and 5 to 8.1 parts of water. The water permeable brick is used as a pavement brick for pavement paving, the environmental problem caused by accumulation of a large amount of construction waste is solved, and resource utilization of the construction waste is realized.
