The invention discloses a self-resetting variable-stiffness viscous damper, and relates to the technical field of bridge anti-seismic dampers.The variable-stiffness viscous damper comprises a cylinder body, a piston assembly and a supporting assembly, through holes are formed in the two ends of the cylinder body respectively, and the cylinder body is filled with a damping medium; the piston assembly is slidably sleeved with the cylinder body. The two ends of the piston assembly extend out of the cylinder body through the through holes respectively, and a reset spring is fixed between one end of the piston assembly and the outer wall of the cylinder body. The hinge seats are fixed to the outer side wall of the cylinder body, the number of the supporting rods corresponds to that of the hinge seats, one ends of the supporting rods are rotationally connected with the hinge seats, the other ends of the supporting rods are fixedly connected with the ends, extending out of the cylinder body, of the piston assemblies, and initial rigidity is provided for the damper through the supporting rods. The rigidity of the damper is variable through connection and disconnection between the supporting rod and the piston assembly, and the damper can be repaired after being broken so as to be repeatedly used.
