The invention discloses a silicon carbide fiber bonded ceramic and a preparation method and application thereof, the preparation method takes silicon carbide fiber, a rare earth material and a molten salt medium as raw materials, and a rare earth carbide coating is prepared on the surface of the silicon carbide fiber through a molten salt method; and carrying out hot pressed sintering to prepare the silicon carbide fiber bonded ceramic. Any silicon carbide fiber is used as the raw material, so that the limitation of the existing prepared bonded ceramic on the fiber raw material is effectively solved, and the sintering temperature of the bonded ceramic can be remarkably reduced. In addition, the preparation method is simple in process and short in period, raw materials such as silicon carbide fibers and metal sources are wide in source and easy to obtain, and the preparation method can be popularized to industrial production. The silicon carbide fiber bonding ceramic has excellent oxidation resistance, high interlayer bonding strength, low porosity and high fiber volume fraction, and can be applied to a high-temperature fuel gas environment of an aero-engine.
本发明公开一种碳化硅纤维成键陶瓷及其制备方法、应用,该制备方法以碳化硅纤维、稀土材料和熔盐介质为原料,通过熔盐法在碳化硅纤维表面制备稀土碳化物涂层;然后通过热压烧结,制备得到碳化硅纤维成键陶瓷。本发明以任意碳化硅纤维为原料,有效解决了现有制备成键陶瓷对纤维原料的限制,还可显著降低成键陶瓷的烧结温度。此外,本发明的制备方法工艺简单、周期短,原材料碳化硅纤维、金属源等来源广、易获取,可推广至工业化生产。该碳化硅纤维成键陶瓷具有优异的抗氧化能力、较高的层间结合强度、低气孔率、高纤维体积分数,可应用在航空发动机的高温燃气环境下。
