The invention discloses a large-span concrete beam and slab formwork supporting system and a construction method, and relates to the technical field of buildings. A first support plate; a second support plate; and a third support plate; wherein the first supporting plates and the second supporting plates form a space used for containing a reinforcement cage assembly, and the third supporting plate is located between the first supporting plates and divides part of concrete poured in the space. In order to achieve synchronous pouring of two or more beam plates at the same time, synchronous pouring of the two or more beam plates is achieved through the space formed by the first supporting plate and the second supporting plate and used for containing the reinforcement cage assembly, and the reinforcement cage assembly is used for improving the supporting performance; and more than two first supporting plates are arranged on the corresponding space length side, and the adjacent first supporting plates are separated by third supporting plates, so that the connectivity between the beam plates can be ensured when the pouring of a plurality of beam plates is synchronously realized.
