The invention relates to a large-span string truss high-altitude cable replacement construction system and method. The construction system comprises a large-span string truss which comprises an upper truss, a cable to be replaced and a plurality of supporting rods; the temporary cable assembly at least comprises two temporary cables, the two temporary cables are installed over the to-be-replaced cable, and the two ends of the temporary cables are anchored to the two ends of the to-be-replaced cable respectively; the temporary supporting rod assemblies are arranged on the two temporary cables in the mode that the temporary supporting rod assemblies and the supporting rods are alternately arranged at intervals, the lower ends of the temporary supporting rod assemblies are fixedly connected with the two temporary cables, and the upper ends of the temporary supporting rod assemblies are fixedly connected with lower chord nodes of the upper truss; when the two temporary cables are tensioned, the upper truss is synchronously supported by the multiple sets of temporary supporting rod assemblies. According to the high-altitude cable replacement construction system and method, replacement of the lower inhaul cable is completed while the upper structure is not changed, and the high-altitude cable replacement construction system and method have the advantages of being high in construction speed, small in construction space requirement and high in cyclic utilization rate.
