The invention relates to a construction method for integrally erecting catwalk bearing cables of a suspension bridge, which comprises the following steps of: S1, placing a plurality of first catwalk bearing cable trays in front of a north anchorage, drawing out first catwalk bearing cables on the first catwalk bearing cable trays, anchoring the first catwalk bearing cables on first anchor beams in sequence, arranging a first winch at the bottom of a north cable tower, and arranging a second winch at the bottom of the north cable tower; the first anchor beam is dragged to the bottom of the north cable tower through a first winch; and S2, a plurality of second catwalk bearing cable trays are placed in front of a south side anchorage, second catwalk bearing cables on the second catwalk bearing cable trays are pulled out and are sequentially anchored to a second anchor beam, a second winch is arranged at the bottom of a south side cable tower, and a second winch is used for pulling the second anchor beam to the bottom of the south side cable tower. A reciprocating traction system does not need to be arranged, the catwalk bearing cable erecting speed is high, the construction efficiency is high, and the construction period can be remarkably shortened.
