The aerogel mortar is prepared from the following raw material components in parts by weight: 104 to 106 parts of slag, 4.5 to 4.7 parts of NaOH, 37.4 to 37.6 parts of Na2SiO3, 17.08 to 51.25 parts of decoration waste recycled fine aggregate, 34 to 35.7 parts of distilled water, 10.5 to 13.5 parts of SiO2 aerogel, 1.2 to 1.3 parts of methyl cellulose ether, 1.2 to 1.3 parts of latex powder, 0.3 to 0.4 part of polypropylene fiber, 0.1 to 0.15 part of air entraining agent and 0.21 to 0.27 part of silane coupling agent. According to the invention, the slag is used as the cementing material, CO2 emission is effectively reduced, the aerogel is used as the lightweight aggregate, so that the mortar has good thermal insulation and fireproof performance, and the decoration garbage is used for replacing the aerogel as the lightweight aggregate, so that the working requirements of the mortar are met, and the production cost is reduced.
