The invention discloses a preparation method of artificial hip joint prosthesis ceramic, and relates to the technical field of new materials, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing raw materials: adopting nano aluminum oxide as a matrix, and adding nano zirconium oxide powder and two additives chromium oxide and strontium oxide; s2, granulating: uniformly mixing the raw materials in the S1, and performing spray granulation to obtain uniform particles; S3, sintering: performing cold isostatic pressing, sintering and heat preservation on the uniform particles obtained in the S2, and then performing hot isostatic pressing and heat preservation to obtain the composite ceramic material. According to the preparation method, the sintering activity of a matrix is improved by adopting nano aluminum oxide powder, the strength and toughness of the aluminum oxide ceramic matrix are improved by adding nano zirconium oxide to inhibit grain growth of aluminum oxide, and then trace chromium oxide and strontium oxide are added to be chemically combined with aluminum oxide to form strontium chromate aluminum plate-shaped crystals, so that crack propagation deviates, and the strength and toughness of the ceramic matrix are improved. The strength of the zirconium oxide toughened aluminum oxide ceramic is further improved.
