The invention discloses a high-strength post insulator cement adhesive and a preparation method thereof. The adhesive comprises a base material, an auxiliary agent and water, the use amount of the auxiliary agent is 0.1-1.4 wt% of the base material; the use amount of the water is 16-25wt% of the base material; the base material comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 40-60 wt% of Portland cement, 10-50 wt% of artificial porcelain sand, 3-5 wt% of a cement expanding agent and 2-10 wt% of silica powder, and the artificial porcelain sand contains a mullite phase; the auxiliary agent comprises an externally doped anti-cracking agent, a water reducing agent, an anti-sagging agent and a defoaming agent, wherein the preparation raw materials of the anti-sagging agent comprise attapulgite powder, hydroxyethylidene-1, 1-diphosphonic acid and polyaspartic acid. The cement adhesive is reasonable in material selection, free of fluidity, capable of being formed through one-time cementing, high in mechanical property, moderate in elasticity modulus, short in maintenance period and excellent in performance and has good application prospects.
