The invention discloses a multi-source information sensing curtain wall installation robot and a curtain wall installation method, and the robot comprises a robot trolley which is controlled by a main control module; a sucking disc is arranged on the trolley; a visual perception module, an environment sensing module, a distance measuring module, a posture sensing module and a data processing and displaying module for processing and displaying data of all the modules are further installed on the trolley, and the visual perception module, the environment sensing module, the distance measuring module and the posture sensing module are all connected with the data processing and displaying module. The data processing and display module is connected with the main control module; and the power supply module supplies power to each module and the trolley. The curtain wall installation labor cost can be reduced to 1/4-1/3, the curtain wall installation construction efficiency is improved by 2-3 times, the high-altitude operation risk is reduced, and the construction safety is greatly improved.
