The invention discloses a modified epoxy resin steel bridge deck waterproof layer which sequentially comprises a first epoxy macadam thin layer and a second epoxy macadam layer on the surface of a steel base plane, and the first epoxy macadam thin layer and the second epoxy macadam layer are both formed by uniformly curing a modified epoxy cementing material and macadam. And the first epoxy macadam thin layer, the second epoxy macadam layer and the steel base surface are integrated. The invention further discloses application of the modified epoxy resin steel bridge deck waterproof layer. The modified epoxy resin steel bridge deck waterproof layer is prepared through the pavement structure of the first modified epoxy cementing layer, the first gravel layer, the second modified epoxy cementing layer and the second gravel layer, an anti-corrosion layer does not need to be coated, and the interlayer bonding strength is improved through an embedded extrusion structure formed between gravel and cementing materials; the mechanical property and the durability of the waterproof layer are improved.
