The invention relates to a double-steel-plate concrete composite structure and a construction method thereof. The double-steel-plate concrete composite structure comprises a first steel plate, a second steel plate, a concrete layer, longitudinal steel bars and a concrete body. The effect of enhancing the rigidity of the steel plate is achieved through the first rib plate, the second rib plate and the concrete layer poured between the first rib plate and the second rib plate, and it is guaranteed that the first steel plate and the second steel plate cannot be bent in the transportation and installation process on the premise that the steel use amount and the welding operation amount are reduced. The first rib plate, the second rib plate and the concrete layer jointly bear shearing force perpendicular to the first steel plate and the second steel plate, the longitudinal steel bars, the concrete layer and the two steel plates jointly bear shearing force parallel to the first steel plate and the second steel plate, the longitudinal steel bars are inserted between the first rib plate and the second rib plate, and opposite pulling and stiffening are achieved. The shear bearing capacity is obviously improved; in addition, the longitudinal reinforcing steel bars penetrate into the side faces of the first rib plate and the second rib plate, and the construction difficulty is lowered.
