The invention discloses a preparation method of a silicate hydrogel composite foam material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a base material solution; placing the base material solution in a reaction kettle, heating and stirring to obtain a silicate solution; continuously carrying out foaming treatment on the sodium silicate solution in the reaction kettle to obtain water glass gel foam; mixing the water glass gel foam with an inorganic filler and a coagulant, and uniformly stirring to obtain composite gel foam; and pouring the composite gel foam into a mold, and drying to obtain the silicate hydrogel composite foam material. The raw materials are easy to obtain, the process is simple, the prepared silicate hydrogel composite foam material is resistant to high temperature, high in heat preservation and heat insulation performance and high in compressive strength, the comprehensive performance can be regulated and controlled by controlling the variety and content of the inorganic filler, and the silicate hydrogel composite foam material is suitable for different use scenes such as heat preservation layers, fireproof layers and fireproof doors of buildings and industrial facilities.
