The invention relates to an underground parking system, also relates to a construction method of the underground parking system, and belongs to the technical field of construction of parking systems. The underground parking system comprises one or a plurality of parking units which are arranged side by side at intervals in the horizontal direction, each parking unit comprises a shaft and a lifting frame, the cross section of each shaft in the horizontal direction is rectangular, each shaft is formed by combining and splicing four prefabricated side walls, every two adjacent shafts share one prefabricated side wall, and the lifting frame is arranged on the lifting frame. Each prefabricated side wall comprises one or more ground inserting modules which are arranged in the vertical direction, every two vertically-adjacent ground inserting modules are positioned and connected in the mode that vertical connecting grooves are matched with vertical connecting protruding blocks, main bodies of the ground inserting modules are made of steel-concrete plates, and the adjacent prefabricated side walls form connecting joints at the end butt joint positions. The connecting nodes comprise end L-shaped nodes, side T-shaped nodes and middle cross-shaped nodes. According to the invention, rapid and low-cost construction can be realized, and parallel expansion can be realized.
