The variable-diameter joint comprises a large-diameter bottom pipe, and one end of the large-diameter bottom pipe is matched with a large-diameter insertion rod arranged at one end of a large-diameter joint pipe in an inserted mode through a large-diameter insertion groove; the other end of the large-diameter joint pipe is also connected with a large-diameter slot, the large-diameter slot is matched with the adjacent large-diameter joint pipe in an inserting manner, and a plurality of large-diameter joint pipes form a large-diameter pipe section; the end of the large-diameter pipe section is connected with the large-small-diameter connector, the other end of the large-small-diameter connector is connected with the small-diameter pipe section, and the small-diameter pipe section is formed by connecting a plurality of small-diameter connector pipes. The method solves the problem that in the prior art, the pipe drawing difficulty of the diaphragm wall connector pipe is large, and has the advantages that negative pressure is prevented from being generated at the bottom of the pipe drawing bench in the mode that grouting is actively conducted from the hole opening to the hole bottom, and therefore the pipe drawing difficulty is reduced.
