Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schlosshalter (1, 23) für einen Kraftfahrzeugverschluss aufweisend einen Schließbolzen (3, 25) und eine Montageplatte (2, 24), wobei der Schließbolzen (3, 25) gemeinsam mit der Montageplatte (2, 24) an einer Kraftfahrzeugkarosserie befestigbar ist, eine Abdeckkappe (4, 5, 28, 29), wobei mittels der Abdeckkappe (4, 5, 28, 29) zumindest die Montageplatte (2, 24) zumindest bereichsweise abdeckbar ist und wobei die Abdeckkappe (4, 5, 28, 29) derart mit der Montageplatte verbindbar ist, dass die Abdeckkappe zumindest bereichsweise einen Oberflächenbereich (18, 19) mit der Montageplatte (2, 24) bildet.
