The present invention provides an efficient way to recycle ground waste of air-cured fibercement as a source of reactive calcium oxide and reactive silica in the manufacture of autoclaved fibercement product. The present invention tackles the problem of the disposal of waste from air-cured fibercement. Further, less fresh cement is necessary for the preparation of autoclaved fibercement composition.
