Provided is a door handle device for vehicles, in which an operating handle is connected to a handle base so as to be capable of protruding from an initial position to a use position. The handle device is provided with: first and second linking members which are located at a distance from each other and which are each rotatably connected to the handle base by a pin; and an electric actuator which rotationally drives the first linking member. The operating handle is rotatably connected to ends of the first and second linking members, and the handle base, the first and second linking members, and the operating handle form a linking mechanism which, when the operating handle is at the use position, maintains an attitude parallel to the initial position.
