According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a shovel 100 detects a predetermined movement (for example, a movement corresponding to an unexpected use) of the shovel 100, and records, in a storage unit 307, unexpected use log information indicating that the predetermined movement is detected, and transmits the unexpected use log information to a management apparatus 200. According to another embodiment of the present disclosure, the management apparatus 200 obtains, from the shovel 100, log information indicating that a predetermined movement of the shovel 100 is detected, and records the log information in a storage unit 2100.
