[Problem] To provide an art capable of reducing a size of a device for generating a pressing force against a cleaning target in an underwater cleaning-work apparatus for cleaning a cleaning target under water.[Solution] An exemplary underwater cleaning-work apparatus includes a main-body portion, a cleaning portion disposed below the main-body portion, and a thruster that applies a propulsive force to the main-body portion. The main-body portion includes a frame portion and a main-body cover that is disposed at a position covering the frame portion of the frame portion and the thruster. An inclined portion is provided on a surface of the main-body cover.
