EMBANKMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new embankment configured to block a surging tsunami or flood that overtops the assumed height.SOLUTION: In a central part of an embankment A constructed by assembling required construction blocks a in a mountain shape and appropriately banking its entire outer surface, a rectangular void space B is formed with an open top surface, and an embankment body C for raising of a height that almost reaches the top opening position is loosely fit in the rectangular void space B. When a wave overtopped the embankment A, the rectangular void space B takes in the water and the water level inside the rectangular void space B is raised, causing the embankment body C for raising to float and serve as an embankment against the wave of a height that overtops the embankment A.
【課題】 想定した高さを超える津波または洪水が押し寄せた場合にあっても、これを阻止可能とするように構成した新規の堤防の提供を図る。【解決手段】所要の構築用ブロックaを山状に組み立てると共にその外面全体には適宜の盛り土を施して構築した堤防Aの中央部に、上面開口の矩形状空所Bを形成すると共に、当該矩形状空所B内には、その上面開口位置と合致する程度の高さを具えた嵩上げ用堤防体Cを遊嵌し、堤防Aを超える高さの波が押し寄せた際に、これを矩形状空所B内に取り込むことに依る矩形状空所B内の水位上昇に基づき、嵩上げ用堤防体Cを浮上させて堤防Aを超える高さの波に対する堤防作用を奏させるように構成した堤防。【選択図】 図1
