METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CERAMIC HEATER ELEMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic heater element, capable of suppressing the deterioration of heat resistance and oxidation resistance.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a ceramic heater element 18, capable of sintering a calcined body 18b while compressing it by hot pressing comprises: the lamination step of alternately laminating a press die 8 made of graphite with a plurality of calcined bodies 18b in a pressing direction HP to form a laminate 8a; the surrounding step of surrounding the laminate 8a by a cylindrical vessel 5 formed of graphite from an orthogonal direction HC orthogonal to the pressing direction HP; and the sintering step of heating the laminate 8a together with the vessel 5 while compressing it in the pressing direction HP to sinter a calcined body 18b. In the surrounding step, a heat resistance sheet material 50 made of graphite and flexible is positioned between the periphery of the laminate 8a in the orthogonal direction HC and the vessel 5. In the sintering step, the calcined body 18b projected outside from the press die 8 in the orthogonal direction HC by compressing the laminate 8a is contacted with the heat resistance sheet material 50.
【課題】耐熱性、耐酸化性の低下を抑制した、セラミックヒータ素子の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】仮焼体18bを、ホットプレス法により圧縮しつつ焼結するセラミックヒータ素子18の製造方法は、黒鉛製のプレス型8と複数の仮焼体18bとをプレス方向HPに交互に積層して積層体8aを構成する積層工程と、積層体8aが黒鉛からなる筒状の容器5で、プレス方向HPに直交する直交方向HCから包囲された形態とする包囲工程と、積層体8aをプレス方向HPに圧縮しつつ、容器5とともに加熱して、仮焼体18bを焼結する焼結工程とを備え、包囲工程では、黒鉛製で可撓性を有する耐熱シート材50を、積層体8aのうら直交方向HC周囲と容器5との間に位置させ、焼結工程では、積層体8aの圧縮で、プレス型8よりも直交方向HC外側に突出した仮焼体18bを耐熱シート材50に当接させる。【選択図】図4
