PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a long size member and a joining method, easy in joining, and excellent in joining force.SOLUTION: A joining structure 1 of the present invention is a joining structure 1 for joining end parts of a plurality of long size members 2, and the joining structure 1 comprises a pair of long size members 2 arranged in substantially parallel by superposing the end parts, a fiber reinforced adhesive 3 arranged between the superposed parts of the pair of long size members 2 and bonding the mutual end parts of the pair of long size members 2 and a fiber reinforced sheet 4 stuck to the end parts of the pair of long size members 2 by surrounding the end parts of the pair of long size members 2 and the fiber reinforced adhesive 3, and the respective fiber reinforced adhesive 3 and fiber reinforced sheet 4 are reinforced by linear fibers 31 and 41 extending in the axial direction of the pair of long size members 2.
【課題】容易に接合することができ、かつ接合力に優れた、長尺部材の接合構造および接合方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明の接合構造１は、複数の長尺部材２の端部を接合する接合構造１であって、接合構造１が、端部が重ね合わされて略平行に配設される一対の長尺部材２と、一対の長尺部材２の重ね合わされた部位の間に配置され、一対の長尺部材２の端部同士を接着する繊維強化接着材３と、一対の長尺部材２の端部および繊維強化接着材３を囲繞して、一対の長尺部材２の端部に貼り付けられる繊維強化シート４とを備え、繊維強化接着材３および繊維強化シート４のそれぞれが、一対の長尺部材２の軸方向に延びる直線状の繊維３１、４１により強化されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
