FOLDING DEVICE FOR TATAMI COVER PART OF TATAMI MAT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding device for a tatami cover part of a tatami mat of excellent appearance, for producing a rimless tatami mat of high commercial value.SOLUTION: A tatami cover part 200 is moved so that a rising part (a tatami cover part rising surface 46) of a folded member 30 comes above a mounting table 24, so as to bring a folded side of the tatami cover part 200 (a side 202 of the tatami cover part 200) is raised in a vertical direction by the rising part of the folded member 30, pivoting around a folding line 206 of the tatami cover part 200. Then, the tatami cover part is moved in a direction to bring the mounting table 24 and the folded member 30 closer, so that the folded side of the tatami cover part 200 comes in contact with a pressed surface (a tapered slanting surface 48) of the folded member 30 for folding inward the folded side of the tatami cover part 200, pivoting around the folding line 206 of the tatami cover part 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
【課題】見栄えが良好で商品価値が高い縁無し畳を製造することのできる畳表折り曲げ装置を提供する。【解決手段】載置テーブル２４に対して、折り曲げ部材３０の立ち上げ部（畳表立ち上げ面４６）が上方の位置となるように移動することにより、折り曲げ部材３０の立ち上げ部によって、畳表２００の折り曲げ線２０６を支点として、畳表２００の被折り曲げ側辺（畳表２００の側辺２０２）を鉛直方向に立ち上げ、載置テーブル２４と折り曲げ部材３０とが接近する方向に移動することによって、畳表２００の被折り曲げ側辺と折り曲げ部材３０のプレス面（テーパー傾斜面４８）とを当接させて、畳表２００の被折り曲げ側辺を、畳表２００の折り曲げ線２０６を支点として、内側に折り曲げるように構成した。【選択図】図１３
