BLOCK FOR GUIDING VISUALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for guiding a visually handicapped person that secures an area where a weak-sighted person may recognize visually and ensures visual recognition of a body part regardless of road surface and other conditions in the surrounding.SOLUTION: A sheet-form block 1 for guiding a visually handicapped person is laid on a road surface for guiding walking position and direction for a visually handicapped person, and includes: a sheet-form body part 2 of a square shape when seen in a planar view, the body part having a pointed or a linear protrusion 3 lined up on a surface; and a sheet-form edge part 4 connected on at least one side of the body part 2 for smoothly connecting a front surface and a rear surface, the edge part being extended sideways from the body part 2. The edge part 4 is formed such that brightness of a surface 40 is lower than that of the body part 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
