To provide a block for leading a visually handicapped person that prevents separation between a sheet-like main body part and a sheet-like edge part with good durability.SOLUTION: There is provided a block for leading a visually handicapped person built on a floor surface or a road surface to support a walk of the visually handicapped person, the block comprising a sheet-like main body part formed into a square shape in plan view on which dot-like or linear projections are regularly provided and a sheet-like edge part extending toward the side of the main body part so as to continue on at least two sides of the main body part, in which the edge part and the main body part are integrally formed by a rubber material, and a surface color is set such that brightness of the surface of the edge part is lower than that of the main body part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】シート状本体部とシート状縁部とが分離し難く耐久性に優れた視覚障害者誘導用ブロックを提供する。【解決手段】点状又は線状の突起が表面に規則的に設けられた平面視正方形のシート状の本体部と、本体部の少なくとも２辺に連続するように当該本体部の側方に向けて延設されたシート状の縁部とを備え、床面もしくは路面に敷設されて視覚障害者の歩行を支援するシート状の視覚障害者誘導用ブロックにおいて、ゴム材料により前記縁部と前記本体部とが一体的に形成され、前記縁部の表面の輝度は前記本体部の表面の輝度よりも低くなるように表面色が設定されているようにした。【選択図】図１
