PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visually handicapped person guide block, installable in a smooth shape along a sidewalk curbstone, capable of clearly indicating a position of the sidewalk curbstone, and excellent even in design, even in the vicinity of the circular arc-shaped sidewalk curbstone for surrounding an intersection.SOLUTION: A visually handicapped person guide block comprises a plate-like base 1, a warning pattern 2 composed of a plurality of circular projections formed on a surface of the base 1 or a guide pattern 3 composed of a plurality of linear projection strips formed on the surface of the base 1, and the base 1 is formed in a convex circular arc shape on one side 1a of the outer edge, and is formed in a concave circular arc shape on the other side 1b opposed to this one side 1a, and the center of curvature S of these one side 1a and other side 1b coincides, and both side edges 1c and 1d for connecting these one side 1a and other side 1b are formed in a fan shape of forming a linear shape of crossing the center of curvature S on an extension line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】交差点を囲む円弧状の歩道縁石の近傍においても、歩道縁石に沿った滑らかな形状に設置することができ、歩道縁石の位置を明確に示すことができ、また、意匠的にも優れた視覚障害者誘導ブロックを提供する。【解決手段】平板状の基台１と、基台１の表面上に形成された複数の円状の突起からなる警告パターン２、または、基台１の表面上に形成された複数の線状の突条からなる誘導パターン３とを有し、基台１は、外縁の一の辺１ａが凸円弧状をなし、この一の辺１ａに対向する他の辺１ｂが凹円弧状をなし、これら一の辺１ａ及び他の辺１ｂの曲率中心Ｓが一致しており、これら一の辺１ａ及び他の辺１ｂを繋ぐ両側辺１ｃ，１ｄが延長線上において曲率中心Ｓで交わる直線状をなす扇形となっている。【選択図】図２
