FRICTION DAMPER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit frictional force in multiple stages.SOLUTION: A friction damper includes: a first pressure contact plate provided on one member; a second pressure contact plate provided on the other member; a third pressure contact plate fastening the first pressure contact plate with the second pressure contact plate; a fourth pressure contact plate provided on the one member and fastening the third pressure contact plate with the first pressure contact plate; a fifth pressure contact plate fastening the fourth pressure contact plate with the third pressure contact plate; and a shaft member inserted through a first through hole of the first pressure contact plate, a second through hole of the second pressure contact plate, a third through hole of the third pressure contact plate, a fourth through hole of the fourth pressure contact plate, and a fifth through hole of the fifth pressure contact plate. Sliding of the second pressure contact plate to the first pressure contact plate and the fourth pressure contact plate is allowed by the first through hole and the fourth through hole, and force for sliding is transmitted from the second pressure contact plate to the third pressure contact plate and the fifth pressure contact plate. A clearance is formed between the shaft member and the second through hole, and between the shaft member and the third through hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
