PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for an underground impermeable wall with more excellent imperviousness to water, which has earthquake resistance brought about by ground followability and self-recoverability, which hardly produces sludge during construction and which is excellent in safety and economical efficiency, and the underground impermeable wall.SOLUTION: A construction method for an underground impermeable wall includes the steps of: injecting and mixing slurry (A) of clay, which is predominantly composed of a laminar silicate mineral having a polyvalent cation between layers, to predetermined depth of ground sediment in the ground; and injecting and mixing an ion exchange agent solution (B) for exchanging the polyvalent cation for a univalent cation.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】より優れた遮水性を備え、地盤追従性と自己修復性とによる耐震性を有し、また、構築時に排泥が発生し難い、安全性及び経済性に優れた地中遮水壁の構築方法及び地中遮水壁を提供する。【解決手段】層間に多価陽イオンを有する層状珪酸塩鉱物を主成分とする粘土の泥水(A)を地中の地盤土砂の所定深さに注入し混合する工程と、前記多価陽イオンを1価の陽イオンに交換するためのイオン交換剤の液(B)を注入し混合する工程とを有する地中遮水壁の構築方法。【選択図】なし
