BASE-ISOLATING STRUCTURE, STEEL SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND BASE-ISOLATING CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF EXISTING STEEL SUPPORT STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolating structure capable of ensuring horizontal rigidity of a base isolation layer when base-isolating an existing steel support structure to obtain stable base-isolated movement.SOLUTION: A base-isolating structure 10 is constituted of a pair of right and left posts 5 and 5 which are disposed being interposed by a distance in a horizontal direction and a pair of upper and lower joists 7A and 7B which are disposed being interposed by a distance in a vertical direction in a structure plane 17. The base-isolating structure 10 includes: a seismic isolation system 11 which is disposed closer to the joist 7A in the halfway of the respective posts 5 and 5; and a horizontal rigidity bearing element which is disposed between a part at which the seismic isolation system 11 is disposed and the joist 7B, and which includes a tie beam 13 which ties the pair of posts 5 and 5 therebetween and vertical braces 15 L and 15R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
