PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for fender having good cushioning performance and cut resistance equivalent to conventional fenders mainly containing normal natural rubber, hardly generating heat deformation or the like and excellent in oil resistance than the above described conventional finders.SOLUTION: A rubber composition contains two kinds of rubber components of a natural rubber and a styrene butadiene rubber, at least a part of the natural rubber of the above described rubber component is epoxidized natural rubber with epoxidation percentage of 10 mol% to 60 mol% and blended percentage of the styrene butadiene rubber is 10 pts.mass to 40 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of total amount of the rubber component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】通常の天然ゴムを主体とする従来の防舷材と同等の良好な緩衝性能や耐カット性を有し、かつ熱変形等を生じにくい上、上記従来の防舷材よりも耐油性に優れた防舷材を形成しうる防舷材用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】天然ゴムとスチレンブタジエンゴムの２種のゴム分を含み、上記ゴム分のうち天然ゴムの少なくとも一部を、エポキシ化率が１０モル％以上、６０モル％以下のエポキシ化天然ゴムとするとともに、スチレンブタジエンゴムの配合割合を、ゴム分の総量１００質量部中の１０質量部以上、４０質量部以下とした。【選択図】なし
