CROSS-WALK FOR VISUALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON
The present invention relates to a crosswalk for a visually handicapped person with a vibration plate on the crosswalk floor which pedestrians step on to provide a tactile information to the pedestrians having difficulties such as a visual handicap, and to guide towards a correct direction supporting a safe and rapid walking over the crosswalk. According to the present invention, the crosswalk for the visually handicapped person comprises: a crosswalk (10); guiding blocks (11) and braille blocks (12) for the visually handicapped person provided on an approaching path of the crosswalk (10); and an audio signal apparatus and a remaining time indicator installed in a signboard or a lighting post built on the approaching path, wherein a vibration-walk (20) is additionally provided on the sidewalk between the braille blocks (12) and the crosswalk (10) to guide the visually handicapped person to cross the crosswalk by providing vibration. The present invention has the effects of ensuring smooth traffic flow and walking, resulting in drastically reduced traffic accidents; and has advantages in reducing installation costs with a simple structure and a lifecycle extended with safe usage over a long time without faults.
본 발명은 시각장애인용 횡단 보도에 관한 것으로, 횡단보도(10)와 상기 횡단보도(10) 진출입 로에 설치되는 시각장애인용 유도블록(11)과 점자블록(12)과 상기 횡단보도(10) 진출입로에 세워진 표지판 또는 가로등 지주상에 설치되는 음향신호기 및, 잔여시간표시기를 구비하는 장애인용 횡단 보도에 있어서; 상기 횡단보도(10)와 점자블록(12) 사이의 보도에 설치되어 진동에 의해 시각장애인에게 횡단보도 통행을 안내하는 진동보도(20)를 더 구비하는 구성으로 보행자가 밟고 보행하는 횡단 보도의 바닥면에 진동판을 설치하여 시각 장애인은 물론 교통 약자에게 촉각으로 보행정보를 제공하여 올바른 방향으로 안전하고 신속하게 횡단 보도를 횡단할 수 있고, 원활한 교통 흐름과 보행권을 보장하여 교통사고를 획기적으로 줄여줄 뿐만 아니라 간단한 구조로 설비에 소요되는 비용을 줄여 경제성이 탁월하면서도 고장 없이 장기간 안전하게 사용할 수 있는 수명이 긴 각별한 장점이 있는 유용한 발명이다.
