PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the safety in a platform by starting operation after people leave the platform.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking apparatus includes: a parking board for holding a vehicle 12 that is transferred to a hangar, and a platform 20 where a driver gets on and off the vehicle 12. The mechanical parking apparatus further includes: a plurality of cameras 82A and 82B for monitoring the platform 20, a monitor screen for displaying the images took by the cameras 82A and 82, the monitor screen being disposed on a control board 22 disposed outside the platform 20 and having a safety button to be pressed by a human operator for safety confirmation. After the safety button is pressed and people leave the platform 20, the transfer of the parking board 16 starts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】より確実に乗降室から人が退出した後に動作を行い、乗降室内の安全性を確保する、ことを目的とする。【解決手段】機械式駐車装置は、格納庫へ搬送されるパレット１６に車両１２が載置され、車両１２の運転者が車両１２に乗降可能な乗降室２０が設けられる。そして、機械式駐車装置は、乗降室２０内を撮像する複数のカメラ８２Ａ，８２Ｂと、乗降室２０内の外側に設けられる操作盤２２に設けられ、カメラ８２Ａ，８２Ｂで撮像された画像を表示するモニタと、乗降室２０内の外側に設けられる操作盤２２に設けられ、人による安全確認の実施状態が入力される確認ボタンを備える。そして、確認ボタンへの入力が行われ、かつ乗降室２０から人が退室した後に、パレット１６の搬送が実行される。【選択図】図７
