PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof sash not only capable of developing reliable fireproof performance but also capable of reducing costs.SOLUTION: A fireproof sash (an opening frame body 1 and an outer peripheral frame body 2), which is one embodiment of a building member, has sides provided with hollow parts 14A-14C extended in longitudinal directions of the sides. A metal reinforcement material 4 is inserted into each of the hollow parts 14A-14C.
