PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof device for a pile driving machine, easily constructible, and expecting the large noise reduction effect.SOLUTION: A soundproof device 10 for a pile driving machine for preventing noise by contact between the pile driving machine 14 and a pile 12 when driving the pile 12, comprises a cylindrical cover 16 for cylindrically covering a part A for contacting between the pile driving machine 14 and the pile 12 and an umbrella-shaped undersurface cover 20 provided on the inside of the cylindrical cover 16 so as to block up a clearance 22 between the cylindrical cover 16 and the pile 12 and composed of a sound absorption material for preventing sound leakage from a lower opening 24 of the cylindrical cover 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
