PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device and fixture capable of properly adjusting attenuation force to be carried out, according to a movement direction or movement position of a movable body.SOLUTION: A door closer 5 as a damper device includes: a rotational shaft 15 configured to rotate along with movement of a door 1; a magnetic fluid part 50 to which magnetic viscous fluid 51 having a nature that viscosity varies according to a magnetic field is input, and into which an agitation fin 19 driven by the rotation of the rotational shaft 15 is inserted in a rotatable manner; magnets 71a-71d configured to increase viscosity of the magnetic viscous fluid 51 with the magnetic field; a magnetic field shield 60 that is arranged between the magnetic fluid part 50 and the magnets 71a-71d, and in which a magnetism shielding part 62 for shielding magnetism and a slit 61 for passing magnetism are formed side by side in the rotation direction of the rotational shaft 15; and a rotation member 20 configured to rotate along with the rotational shaft 15 and change a positional relationship between the magnets 71a-71d and the slit 61 in the rotation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
