PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate door device capable of safely fixing a sliding door while securing a passage part.SOLUTION: A gate door device comprises a sliding door 1 capable of moving from one end side to the other end side of a gate G so as to open and close the gate G, and a sliding door rail 2 for guiding a movement of the sliding door 1, and the sliding door 1 comprises a traveling body 3 which travels along the sliding door rail 2, and a fixing device 4 for disabling the traveling body to move at an arbitrary position. The fixing device 4 has a contact part 41 coming into contact with a passage surface part 6 of the gate G, and is configured to make reversible change between a fixation state in which the sliding door 1 is fixed with the contact part 41 brought into contact with the passage surface part 6 and a state in which the contact part 31 leaves the passage surface part 6 to enable the sliding door 1 to move.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
