PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a portable machine.SOLUTION: A communication system includes an on-vehicle device that is mounted in a vehicle, and a portable machine that comprises a communication part establishing wireless communication with the on-vehicle device. The portable machine comprises a detection part that detects movement of the portable machine, and a sensitivity changing part that changes receiving sensitivity of the communication part to second sensitivity higher than preset first sensitivity when the movement of the portable machine is detected by the detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
