STEEL PIPE CONNECTION MECHANISM AND STEEL PIPE CONNECTION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe connection mechanism and a steel pipe connection method, which have good workability when a split key member is disposed in a key groove.SOLUTION: A steel pipe connection mechanism connects steel pipe ends that face each other of steel pipes, which are adjacent in steel pipe axial center direction, so that the pipes are prevented from being pulled out in the steel pipe axial center direction by a key member. The key member consists of multiple split key members 31 in a steel pipe circumferential direction. The split key member 31 has a connection mechanism capable of connecting adjacent split key members 31 with each other on both ends in longer direction of the split key member 31, and has longitudinal dimension L along longer direction that is shorter than horizontal width dimension H along the steel pipe circumferential direction of an opening 16 in communication with a key groove G in which the split key member 31 is disposed and longer than depth dimension of the opening 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
