STEEL PIPE CONNECTION MECHANISM
To provide a steel pipe connection mechanism in which a load transmission key can be moved between an astraddle position and a stored position with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The steel pipe connection mechanism has: a cylindrical joint 10; a shaft-like joint 20 that can fit into the cylindrical joint 10; and a load transmission key 30 disposed so that the position can be changed to a stored position of being stored in an inward groove 15 and an astraddle position of straddling an outward groove 25 and the inward groove 15. The steel pipe connection mechanism includes a through hole 16 that makes the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical joint 10 communicate with the inward groove 15, and the inner peripheral surface of which is provided with a female thread; and an operating member 50, the outer peripheral surface of which is provided with a male thread that can be screwed to the female thread of the through hole 16. The operating member 50 is provided with a suction part 53 that can suction the load transmission key 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
