PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slitter device capable of easily forming a slit groove, which does not penetrate a tatami mat, in the tatami mat thicker than a film and the like.SOLUTION: A slitter device for a tatami mat includes: a drive roller for launching the tatami mat; a driving source for driving the drive roller; a press roller for pressing a tatami, which is loaded on a stand, against the drive roller; and a cutting blade for forming a slit with a depth smaller in dimension than the thickness of the tatami mat. A distance between a point of contact between the drive roller and the tatami mat and a cutting edge of the cutting blade is set smaller in dimension than the thickness of the tatami mat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
