A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
To provide a tatami which has significantly high durability (wear resistance) compared to conventional tatami, does not wear at all even travellers pull heavy baggage on the tatami and does not need to be replaced for several years to some decades.SOLUTION: A tatami main body part 101 is provided by assembling a tatami front 110 woven with fiber of a fiber reinforcement resin with a front surface of a tatami floor and adhering the tatami front 110 and the tatami floor in the state where a side of the tatami front 110 is folded on a lateral surface of the tatami floor. In addition, a base fabric part 210 and a resin sheet 220 are bonded having the base fabric part 210 woven with fiber as a back surface, and the resin sheet 220 as a front surface, and further a tatami edge part 200 is provided by transferring a pattern of the tatami edge on a surface of the resin sheet 220. The tatami edge part 200 is sawn together with the edge of the tatami main body part 101 to obtain the tatami.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
