PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance method for a steel structure capable of treating an old coating film including PCB at a low cost.SOLUTION: Since an old coating film which is generated as a result of performing a surface treatment on a steel bridge K is constituted so as to remove PCB included in the old coating film by a heat treatment part 70 in a prescribed site area Z, the old coating film carried out from the site area Z can be treated as an industrial waste which does not include the PCB, and maintenance of the steel bridge K can be carried out at a low cost.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ＰＣＢを含む旧塗膜を低コストで処理できる鋼構造物の保全工法を提供する。【解決手段】鋼橋Ｋに対して素地調整を行った結果発生する旧塗膜を、所定の現場領域Ｚにある加熱処理部７０によって当該旧塗膜に含まれるＰＣＢを除去する構成としたため、現場領域Ｚから搬出する旧塗膜はＰＣＢを含まない産業廃棄物として処理することができ、低コストで鋼橋Ｋの保全を実施できる。【選択図】図１
